BIOGRAPHY
Jennifer Fisher joined Strayhorn & Persons in 2015 upon graduating at the top of her class from Ave Maria School of Law and being admitted to the Florida Bar. She not only serves her clients with excellent legal knowledge, but also with over a decade of experience in the legal field. She prides herself on putting the clients first and finding solutions to the most intricate issues. Since joining Strayhorn & Persons, Ms. Fisher has issued over $97,000,000 in title insurance and heads up the firms real estate transaction and litigation departments.
Ms. Fisher has made Fort Myers her home, moving to Fort Myers in 2005 after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Biola University in the Los Angeles area. She was born in the mountain ski town of Red River, New Mexico, and grew up enjoying hiking and sailing, but quickly decided her future was in Southwest Florida.
Soon after her arrival to Fort Myers, Ms. Fisher discovered her passion for the law and service while working as a paralegal in a Fort Myers law firm. She pursued this passion by seeking further legal education, working as a paralegal in real estate, probate litigation, and estate planning and then deciding that she would further serve clients by obtaining her law degree.
Choosing to stay in Southwest Florida, Jennifer attended Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida on a full tuition scholarship, receiving additional scholarships from the Lee County Association of Women Lawyers and the Uncommon Friends Foundation. While at Ave Maria, Ms. Fisher not only achieved top honors and served as Senior Editor of the Law Review, but also continued to learn in the field by assisting local attorneys with foreclosure litigation, eminent domain, land trusts, estate planning, probate litigation, and real estate transactions. Ms. Fisher also participated in many externships including working for the Honorable Douglas N. Frazier, United States Magistrate Judge, Middle District of Florida, the Guardian ad Litem Program, and was a Certified Legal Intern for the State Attorney’s Office which allowed her to gain trial experience prosecuting misdemeanors.
Ms. Fisher and her husband, Josh, keep busy raising their three adorable and way-too-smart kids (including twins).
