When it comes to community redevelopment districts, Strayhorn, Persons-Mulicka & Fisher has been involved with some of the first tax increment finance and tax rebate agreements in the county. These arrangements fostered growth in the downtown area, beginning with the Beau Rivage project on East First Street at Billy’s Creek.

One of the state’s top firms, Strayhorn, Persons-Mulicka & Fisher consulted with all parties in the process of CRA Districts, including coordinating community involvement blight studies and all aspects of the creation, sunsetting and planning of CRA districts.

The law firm has represented clients in obtaining tax increment finance agreements with the City of Fort Myers to help get major new construction up and running for the first time in a decade. This included such projects as Allure Condominium Highrise, Prima Luce Condominium Highrise and a retail-apartment complex project on U.S. 41 South at the gateway into Fort Myers.
