With the appointment of Jennifer L. Fisher to partner, the area’s oldest law firm, Strayhorn & Persons, has rebranded as Strayhorn, Persons-Mulicka & Fisher.
Fisher, who joined the practice in 2015, recently earned her board certification in real estate law from the Florida Bar. Board certification demonstrates a lawyer’s significant commitment to and experience in a specialty field of law. Board-certified lawyers have dedicated themselves to a heightened level of excellence through character, professionalism, ethics, and credibility in the practice of law. Certification requires lawyers to pass a comprehensive examination that evaluates a high level of knowledge, skills, and expertise in a specialty field. Each board-certified lawyer undergoes a rigorous peer-review process that assesses competence in a specialty field, as well as professionalism and ethics in the practice of law. Established by the Florida Supreme Court, board certification is conferred upon lawyers by the most credible and highest authority over the state’s legal community, The Florida Bar.
Fisher joins E. Bruce Strayhorn and Jenna Persons-Mulicka as a partner in the firm, which represents a variety of businesses in a wide range of matters including real estate and zoning, administrative law, environmental law and general practice.
“We are pleased to name Jennifer as a partner and to rebrand as Strayhorn, Persons-Mulicka & Fisher, paying tribute to our history while focusing on the growth and future of our firm and community,” Strayhorn said. “For more than 100 years, the firm has proudly served as the area’s
most trusted resource, helping to lay the foundation for growth and progress throughout our community. The addition of Jennifer as a partner and rebranding of the firm represents our continued dedication to meeting the evolving needs of a growing and thriving Southwest Florida.”
Fisher, who heads up the firm’s real estate transaction department, has issued over $110 million in title insurance and is well versed in real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, entitlements, commercial leasing and complex commercial financing.
As part of the firm’s rebranding, Strayhorn, Persons-Mulicka & Fisher has unveiled a new logo and launched a new, user-friendly website that highlights the firm’s history, the partners’ expertise and client case studies.
